SEA You in Guangdong

On September 20th, 2023, the fourth "National Coral Day” in China, DUTE NEWS by Shenzhen News Group kicked off the 4th episode of the SEA YOU IN GUANGDONG livestreaming series.

Audiences had the chance to know everything about corals in the Greater Bay Area through guided tours by the  divers and experts from social marine protection organization Blue Fins and the Shenzhen One Planet Foundation. The 4-hour live session attracted over 60 million views.

At Dapeng Bay, we saw some of the fascinating corals in the waters of Shenzhen. The real-time underwater Q&A session also made a comeback during the live stream.

At the Hong Kong Hoi Ha Wan Marine Life Center, we boarded a glass-bottomed boat to learn about the coral conservation efforts in Hong Kong.
