第27届中国金鸡百花电影节开幕式、第34届大众电影百花奖提名者表彰仪式、电影艺术家走红毯仪式以及第34届大众电影百花奖颁奖典礼暨第27届中国金鸡百花电影节闭幕式，是本届电影节的四大主体活动，也是重头戏。
The opening ceremony of the 27th China Golden Rooster & Hundred Flowers Film Festival , the commending ceremony of the 34th Popular Movies Hundred Flowers Award Nominators, film artists walking on the red carpet, and the 34th Popular Movies Hundred Flowers Awarding Ceremony and the closing ceremony of the 27th China Golden Rooster & Hundred Flowers Film Festival are four main activities of this film festival.
其中，开幕式于11月7日晚8时至10时在佛山岭南明珠体育馆主馆举行。整个开幕式将围绕电影人的电影梦想展开，讲述光影初心，展现新时代百花气象。届时，粤剧、武术、南狮等佛山元素将一一呈现，广东卫视将进行全程直播。
The opening ceremony will start at 8:00 p.m. on Nov. 7th at Foshan Lingnan Pearl Gymnasium. Surrounding the dream of film makers, it tells the original aspiration of film making with Foshan elements such as Cantonese opera, martial art and lion dance. There will be live broadcasting on Guangdong TV.
百花奖提名者表彰仪式将于11月9日下午在佛山岭南明珠体育馆主馆举行。百花奖完整入围名单日前已公布，《红海行动》《湄公河行动》等10部电影入围百花奖，新人男女演员、最佳男女配角、最佳男女演员、最佳编剧、最佳导演以及最佳影片的奖项均从中产生。
The commending ceremony of Hundred Flowers Award Nominees will be held in the afternoon of Nov. 9th at Foshan Lingnan Pearl Gymnasium. The shortlist was published recently. Operation Red Sea and other 9 movies made it to the list. New Actor/Actress, Best Supporting Actor/Actress, Best Scriptwriter, Best Director and Best Film will be selected from these 10 movies.
作为本届电影节的压轴大戏，11月10日下午4时，电影艺术家走红毯仪式将正式开始，届时约有800名电影人亮相红毯。第34届大众电影百花奖颁奖典礼暨第27届中国金鸡百花电影节闭幕式则将于当晚7时30分至10时30分举行。两场活动将在新建的佛山国际体育文化演艺馆举行，全程由央视六套直播。
As the finale of the film festival, on Nov. 10, more than 800 film makers will start walking on the red carpet at 4:00 in the afternoon. The awarding ceremony and closing ceremony will be held from 7:30 to 10:30 at night. The activities will be held at the newly built Foshan International Sports Culture Entertainment Hall. CCTV Channel 6 will have live broadcasting.

Academic forums: important guests gather in Foshan
电影节期间将举办主体活动、影展活动、学术论坛活动、影评征文活动、其他活动等5大类共35项活动。
There are 35 activities in five categories in total, including main activities, film exhibitions, academic forums, reviews and articles.
电影节期间，一系列的学术论坛将举办，包括“中国电影高峰论坛”“中国电影文学论坛”“中国电影科技论坛”“中国电影教育与产业高峰论坛”“中国电影产业投资影响力论坛”等。
During the the film festival, a series of academic forums will be held, including “Chinese Film Summit”, “Chinese Film Literature Forum”, “Chinese Film Technology Forum”, “Chinese Film Education & Industry Summit”, etc.
其中，中国电影文学论坛将邀《金陵十三钗》编剧刘恒，《投名状》编剧何冀平等名家齐聚，共话如何讲好中国好故事。作为电影节的献礼之作，新书《佛山与中国电影》将在电影节期间首发。
Among them, the scriptwriters of the Flowers of War and the Warlords and many other famous film makers are invited to Chinese Film Literature Forum. As a gift for the film festival, new book Foshan and Chinese Films will be issued during the festival.
影展活动：24部外国影片角逐多个奖项
Film exhibition: 24 foreign films compete for awards
金鸡国际影展影片评选会议于10月20日至25日举行。15名评委将对24部影片进行集中观影、评分和讨论，评选出最受观众喜爱的外国影片、最受观众喜爱的导演、最受观众喜爱的男女演员等多个奖项。
The Golden Rooster International Film Exhibition Film Selection Meeting was held from Oct. 20th to 25th. 15 judges will gather to watch, grade and discuss 24 foreign films and select multiple awards such as Audience’s Favorite Foreign Film, Director and Actor/Actress, etc.
少数民族电影展映将于电影节期间在南海保利影城举行，16部少数民族电影亮相，将会免费向市民展映其中15部。部分电影还将举行见面会，邀请电影主创人员与现场观众见面。
During the film festival, National Minority Film Exhibition will be held at Nanhai Polly International Cinema. 16 films about national minority will be staged and audience can enjoy 15 of them for free. There will also be some meet-and-greets where film crews can communicate with audience.

吴京表示，佛山是武术之乡，有很多得天独厚的地域优势，有很大的发展空间。希望佛山将来能够为全世界的功夫电影提供非常广阔、专业、先进的拍摄平台。
Jason Wu said that as the village of martial art, Foshan is gifted with strategic location and huge development space. He hoped that Foshan can provide a broad, professional and advanced shooting platform for Kung-fu movies all over the world in the future.
由吴京自导自演的电影《战狼2》入围了第34届大众电影百花奖最佳影片，吴京也凭着这部影片获得今年百花奖最佳导演和最佳男主角的提名。
Wolf Warriors Ⅱ directed and acted by Jason Wu was selected as the nominee of the 34th Popular Movies Hundred Flowers Best Film, and Jason Wu was also nominated as Best Director and Best Actor this year.
