North Emperor's Birthday Temple Fair
胥江祖庙建于南宋嘉定年间，规模宏大，建筑样式古典，闻名遐迩。2002年，经专家考究论证，芦苞祖庙被认定为中国“南武当”的主体庙宇(武僧们寻找练功习武的地方)，有着深厚的道教文化底蕴。
Xujiang Ancestral Temple was built in the Jiading years of Southern Song Dynasty , which is known for its large-scale and classical architectural style. In 2002, the temple was identified as the main Chinese "South Wudang Temple” (a place for monks to practice martial arts), which has a profound Taoist culture.
每年农历三月初三，俗称“北帝诞”。北帝诞当日，三水芦苞胥江祖庙都有举行北帝诞庙会巡游的传统，神像巡游的时间长达一天一夜。
The third day of the third lunar month each year is commonly known as the "North Emperor's Birthday." On the day of the Northern Emperor's Birthday, there is normally a tradition of holding a parade at Xujiang Ancestral Temple in Lubao, Sanshui, and the time of the statue parade will last for a day and night.
胥江祖庙三月三北帝诞作为芦苞当地百姓最大的群体性活动，有着广泛的全民参与性，表达了百姓希望风调雨顺、国富民强的美好心愿。
As the largest group activity for the local people at Xujiang Ancestral Temple, Lubao, it attracts a wide range of participation and expresses people’s hope for peaceful life and prosperity.

据了解，今年芦苞将庙会文化、特色民俗文化、长寿文化、美食文化串珠成链、有机整合，庙会将独具芦苞特色，究竟有何亮点？
It is reported that this year Lubao will combine temple culture, folk culture, longevity culture, and gourmet culture to make a temple with unique feature. What are the highlights?
1庙会文化Temple culture
丰富多彩的民间活动将一一呈现：颇具岭南特色的北帝祭祀、北帝巡游、北帝回宫、醒狮起舞等。
Rich folk culture will be presented to you during the activity, such as the North Emperor worshiping ceremony, North Emperor parade, North Emperor’s return to the palace, lion dancing, etc.
2特色民俗文化 Characteristic folk culture
文化艺术活动：沙画表演、千人太极表演、书画家即席挥毫、特色教育成果汇演、民俗综艺汇演、粤曲、流行音乐、茶艺香道、青花瓷古乐等。
There are artistic activities including sand painting performance, thousand-people Tai Chi performance, calligraphist painting on the spot, performance on the achievements of characteristic education, folk variety show, Cantonese opera, pop music, tea art performance, blue and white porcelain ancient music, etc.
3长寿文化Longevity culture
活动期间，主办方将举办千人长寿斋宴活动，邀请珠三角地区一千名70岁以上的长者品尝“长寿斋宴”，传承良好的家风，弘扬芦苞长寿文化、孝善文化。此外，还将举办摄影比赛，包括评选最美庙会图片，创意拼照拼出“ 长寿之乡”等。
During the activity, the organizer will hold a longevity vegetarian feast for thousands of people and invite 1,000 elderly people over 70 years old in Pearl River Delta Area to enjoy the longevity vegetarian feast, inheriting a good family style and carrying forward the culture of longevity and filial piety in Lubao. In addition, there also will be a photography competition which selects the most beautiful temple fair pictures and make the spell photo of the "longevity village".
4美食文化 Gourmet culture
可以在庙会亚洲美食汇中品尝来自各地的美食：
●美食一条街：全国各地美食小吃、芦苞特色美食、手信共60家商家进驻。
●民俗一条街：邀请民俗文化特色精品商家进场。

Gourmet Street: a total of 60 merchants covering food snacks all over the country, Lu Bao special cuisine and souvenir gifts.

据了解，今年将重现儿时庙会场景，巡游定点表演线路为：胥江祖庙——关帝庙——芦苞影剧院——芦苞市场牌坊——镇行政服务中心——龙坡公园——文化广场。每个方阵在每个点的表演时间均为5分钟。
It’s reported that this year the scene of childhood temple fair will be recreated and the parade route will be: Xujiang Temple--Emperor Guan Temple--Lubao Theatre--Lubao Market--Lubao Administrative Service Center--Longpo Park--Cultural Square. Each square will perform for 5 minutes at each point.
