居家发现有成蚊时，可使用市售有合格证号的杀虫气雾剂、蚊香、灭蚊片等卫生杀虫剂等灭蚊，施药前先关闭门、窗，施药后人员离开，0.5~1小时后再打开门、窗通风20分钟后，人方可进入室内。也可电蚊拍等击杀。

家居安装纱门、纱窗（纱网筛目小于20目，即筛孔平均边长0.9mm），在纱窗上喷洒杀虫剂效果更佳；睡觉时使用蚊帐。
